Supplying Solutions With Style
Whenever Dyson launches a new product, two key elements—design and innovation—are at the heart of the process. Known for its groundbreaking approach since the first vacuum cleaner prototype in 1979, Dyson approached us to support the launch of its expanding Dyson Hair Care lineup with a focus on delivering an interactive and engaging experience for delegates.
At previous events, the format involved 1-on-1 hair stylist interactions with fixed mirrors for styling demonstrations. While this had been highly successful, Dyson wanted to push the boundaries further, incorporating fresh, innovative experiences that could elevate the event’s impact.
Additionally, the solution needed to integrate seamlessly with Dyson’s existing physical framework, accommodate the dimensions and limitations of the available space, and be simple to assemble for use across multiple locations.
We developed two cutting-edge digital solutions that highlighted Dyson’s commitment to innovation and technology:
The combination of the Styling Station app and the Object Recognition Table created an exceptional, cohesive experience that seamlessly integrated with Dyson’s event framework. The solutions elevated the user journey, blending technology with practical product education and self-styling opportunities.
The use of QR codes and social media hashtags allowed Dyson to track interaction levels and extend the reach of the event digitally. Feedback from Dyson was overwhelmingly positive, with interest in rolling out these innovations across multiple markets and potentially into retail environments. The project underscored Dyson’s commitment to combining technology and design to deliver memorable, impactful experiences.
