Introduction
Gravit8 was delighted when approached by Bray Leino to devise an innovative solution to effectively showcase the Department for Transport’s vital projects and initiatives at the World Road Congress.
Crafting visually impactful and unique displays is our bread and butter, and so we were thrilled to assist Bray Leino in the development of an interactive tablet wall.
Objectives
- Create visual interest: we aimed to make our display a standout feature at the World Road Congress, capturing attention with its visual appeal.
- Facilitate an engaging, interactive stand design: beyond being informative, we wanted to enhance delegate experience at our stand.
- Share important messages for the Department for Transport: while crafting an attention-grabbing display, it was equally important to convey the Department for Transport’s key messages effectively.
The Solution: Gravit8’s Tablet Wall
Gravit8 implemented a comprehensive solution featuring 44 tablets and an LED wall, pixel-mapped across all tech, to seamlessly convey the Department for Transport’s key messaging.
With content supplied by Bray Leino, Gravit8 built the app that was installed on each tablet, as well as formatting the video footage so that it would sync across all the tablets and the wall.
When a tablet was removed from the wall the app opened to display interactive information on each of DFT’s partners, when it was placed back onto the wall it synced back in with the video footage.

Captivating Delegates
The tablet wall is an eye-catching feature that quickly attracts delegates and captures their attention. By increasing the visual impact of your stand, you increase delegate footfall. What’s more, while the animation continues on screen, individual tablets can be detached from the tablet wall, by business representatives, for a hand-held visual aid that facilitates personalised, in-depth discussions.
